This fragrance is intoxicating! I do smell an undertone of cherries in the soap batch but that doesn't bother me and it adds to the scent, in my opinion. I didn't experience any acceleration or any other problems - it soaped beautifully even with a heavy water discount. Will probably use less next time - it's very strong and a 2 pound batch sitting in my kitchen can be smelled down the hall. I don't see any discoloration but the soap is only about a week old. This is one I will definitely keep in stock.
I sold out of the soap I made with this yesterday!!! Seriously one of my favorites, I want to take a bite!
if you love almond extract this is the FO for you! i only wanted a sample because i am very picky about almond scents, usually i think they smell too much of vanilla... not this one! Its so delicious and the perfect almond scent! wish i had ordered this instead of the pure honey! Such a perfect fragrance!
This is my absolute favorite FO. The smell is delicious and has a lasting scent. Everyone that has sampled my products with this scent just adores it. Thank you BB.
I bought this fragrance oil based on reviews, expecting to get a true almond scent. I'm so disappointed this smells strongly of cherries and that's exactly what I wanted to avoid. I dont smell a true nutty scent at all. Its very sweet cherry. Disappointing. I'll have to rename my product
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi AJ! I'm sorry that you're disappointed with our Almond Fragrance Oil. You're right, out of bottle it does have a "cherry" note to it. This is because many almond flavors and extracts have a cherry taste/scent which is due to the benzaldehyde or Laetrile which is found in both bitter almonds and cherry pits. The scent definitely mellows out once used in product so would recommend making a small test batch to see if you might like it better!
