A great starter kit for making batches of round soap. We love how much stability the stand adds to the Column Molds. Never worry about knocking over a freshly poured batch of soap again! The stand is made from Russian White Birch and has a finish on the front and back for easy clean-up. The Column Molds are made of heavy duty plastic and include a plastic, reusable liner and endcap.

This kit includes the Multi-Column Mold Stand and our Heavy Duty Column Molds, liners, and endcaps.

4 Column Kit Dimensions (when assembled): 10" X 10" X 12"  Holds 12 pounds 4 ounces of soap

12 Column Kit Dimensions (when assembled): 14-1/2" X 19" X 12"  Holds 36 pounds 12 ounces of soap

I LOVE these
I love these molds! I was hesitant to buy them since some of the reviews complained about the soap sticking to the sides or caps. Honestly, I have never had soap come out so easily. These molds are so easy to use. Furthermore, there was another guy who complained about the capacity of the soap molds being off. Each mold holds 3 pounds of soap perfectly. I have had a flawless experience with these molds. I highly recommend them.

Mixed Experience
I have had both good and bad experiences with these molds. All of the M&P soaps I've made have come out beautifully. My experience with CP has been different. One soap recipe came out without issue after 48 hours. Another recipe just never set up quite right and would tear every time I tried to remove it from the mold. I left that soap in the mold for 9 days before giving up. While the tearing has created an interesting effect on the outside of the bar of soap, I don't think I'll be using the mold for CP soaps for a while.

Hi Michaela! I'm so glad your melt and pour soap turns out beautifully with our Column Mold & Stand Kit! Though I'm sorry you have trouble using this mold with cold process soap. We love how CP turns out in the Heavy Duty Column Mold as seen in our Circle Swirled Soap in Column Mold tutorial. There can be many different reasons a recipe takes longer to set up. Also, using more hard oils or something like Sodium Lactate, which also hardens your soap, will definitely help! I will email you personally to help troubleshoot!

I love these soap molds. But I would love to have 4 caps for the top of the molds. Now I use plastic bags. Please sell me 4 more caps. I buy many products from Bramble Berry and have never been disappointed. Thanks. Cricket

I try to be positive . . .
. . . but I've just used these for the last time. I have to battle them to get the soap out every single time. Just twist off the cap? I have to stick a knife down between the cap and the mold to even start wiggling them off. I've used them 3 or 4 times now and had the same experience. I just don't have enough strength in my arms to use these. I make sure I get them super clean each time so there are no soap remnants gumming up the grooves, but to no avail. I literally have to battle these each time I attempt to unmold the soap.

Hi Annette! I'm sorry these molds weren't your favorite. In our tests and recipes, we've found the cap comes off with a little bit of wiggling, as seen in the Circle Swirled Soap in Column Mold tutorial. To help that soap release easily, you can add more hard oils to your recipe, like coconut oil. Adding 1 tsp. of sodium lactate per pound of oils to your cooled lye water can help that soap release faster as well. Read more in the Sunday Night Spotlight: Sodium Lactate. It can also help to rub the inside of the mold with cyclomethicone to keep it from sticking. I'll be emailing you personally to talk more!

4 Column Mold with Stand
I am brand new to Soap making and love it. I don't know what I will do with all of the soap that I am making but I am really enjoying this hobby! I love the 4 column mold with the stand. If I could have given it a 4&1/2 I would have. The liners didn't fit perfectly even after turning them the other way and as suggested. I even tried running them under super hot water but they were slightly too big. I battled with them for a while and ended up using a rotary cutter to slice off just a tiny bit and then they fit perfectly. Of course I cut the first one too much so there will be a line when I unmold. I do love that I will be able to make 2 batches at a time though. Great price.
