Home Spa Recipes
Treat mom or any important woman in your life to a homemade pedicure. Over on the Soap Queen blog we have a series of tutorials starting today for making a sea salt foot scrub, a luxurious foot balm, and a fizzing foot soak. Finish off with some customized nail polish (Soap Queen will show you that too!) and mom will have sandal-perfect feet. Ingredients:Tools:
Step 1: Mix baking soda, citric acid and powdered milk in a bowl and set aside.
Step 2: Mix jojoba oil and fragrance oil then combine the wet and dry ingredients.
Step 3: Mix well until it's the consistency of fluffy cornmeal. Then package in the 4 oz metal container.
Directions: Scoop the mixture into warm water and watch it fizz. Soak feet for 10 minutes (or as long as Mom wants).

Last year on the Soap Queen Blog we posted a series of tutorials on creating this sweet little ensemble of gifts.
We've just added liquid black oxide and liquid brown oxide to our ever expanding line of non-bleeding colorants. These are so easy to use in melt & pour soap or cold process - you'll wonder why you ever messed with the powders!
