Wonderful!
Took a chance, glad I did! Everyone that smells it loves it (men and women). I recognized the scent out of the bottle, grabbed a bottle of lotion out of my bathroom, and they're EXACTLY the same! It's a dead ringer for bath and body works' "sea island cotton", which I wasn't expecting, but am so happy about! Made cp soap, no ricing, no discoloring, didn't notice any acceleration. It's only been a little over a month, but it's still strongly sticking.

Wonderfully Diversified
This fragrance has been a blessing! It is wonderful for men, women, boys and girls. Great scent by itself or blended with another fragrance I absolutely love this addition. Thank you.

Moved Fast but did the Taiwan Swirl Anyway
I failed to read the reviews before soaping with it: CP with lard & olive as main oils. After emulsion I added the FO then stick blended about 5 seconds and it went immediately to pudding so I stopped. I was still able to divide and weigh into portions before adding micas (and then improvising to fetch and add a 3rd mica) and doing the Taiwan Swirl, which took about 5 minutes. I then still had time to clean out the bowls with the leftover and to mold up guest sized bars. It was still fluid for me. I scented at the strong level as defined with the BB fragrance calculator. I was hoping for a masculine or unisex scent but there are multiple floral notes and my teen boys say it's too floral. (They like Tobacco & Bay Leaf best.)

Hi Christine! When blending in a fragrance, I recommend using a whisk, rather than a stick blender. This way, the fragrance is less likely to accelerate your trace. I especially recommend this when working with a fragrance known to accelerate slightly :) I also recommend adding your colorants first. This way you have more time to work with the soap, before the acceleration process begins. I'm happy to hear you were able to make your Taiwan Swirl! :)

Great scent, but seizes in CP
I love this scent! It's my favorite manly scent but I will probably not but this one again. I CP soaped low, added the scent il to my oils because I knew this would accelrate, but I didn't anticipate how fast this congels. I'm talkin a 3 second stick blend then about 20 seconds later it's unpourable. Accelerates slightly is an understatement. My advise is if you want to color this add it to your oils along with the scent oil then add the lye, stick very little untill it comes together then pour it. DO NOT expect to be able to do anything fancy with this one.

Hi Hilary! I'm sorry to hear that this fragrance misbehaved for you. I would recommend always using a whisk to incorporate your fragrance oils to prevent acceleration. Because of this, we like to add our colorants first, then fragrances last :) Because this scent is known to accelerate, I also recommend planning your design accordingly.

A Little Sweet for a Masculine Scent
This FO is very true to it's description. I made some M&P shaving soap for my husband, and it was a bit to floral for him. It really doesn't smell "manly" to me either, and that's really my only complaint with it. Personally, I really love this scent. It's sweet, wonderful, misty, and clean. This is one of those that you slowly grow to love it, and then you just can't get enough! Usually with rain or ocean scents they always smell too much of ozone. This FO has the perfect amount to balance out the floral overtones. The shaving bar I made for my husband is now mine, and I will be making more!
