Good scent but quite weak
This is the first EO I've tried from BB that leaves me wanting more. I don't know if I just happened to get a bottle from a weaker batch, but I'm not sure I'll order this specific product again. The fragrance it gives off is very nice. I won't say it's my favorite lavender, but it does smell very good. But even in the bottle, it's weak--possibly even weaker than an almost empty bottle of lavender I've had for 3-4 years. Wondering if the scent might be enhanced after curing in CP soap, I gave it a try. My first attempt didn't go so well--I used a bit of neem oil in the batch, which completely overpowered the lavender. Thinking that maybe it would do better in a more neutral oil blend, I did a test batch with only olive oil, lard, and coconut oil... and it's still very weak despite using slightly more EO than recommended for a strong scent. That said, for facial creams, it is perfect. I prefer more mild scents when making lotions, so I'll probably use the rest of this bottle for that.

Love this Lavender
This is the purest Lavender Essential Oil that I have yet to find. I currently use it in bath bombs. A little goes such a long way and when it hits the water the scent stays true. Some essential oils will become 'weird' smelling when in bath water, but this one is perfect! Worth every cent!!!

Origin?
How is this lavender oil Hungarian when you state Bulgaria as the country of origin?

Reply from Bramble Berry

Hi Marina! Hungarian refers to the type of lavender this essential oil is made from. Though, the country of origin is Bulgaria. I will email you personally to discuss this further!

REALLY Good
I absolutely love this scent. From the bottle it doesn't impress me so much, but in my cold process soap it wins me over. Two days ago I made a loaf using only this EO and it traced up normally and out the loaf smells amazing. Very nice and highly recommend. My Bulgarian friends say they are known for their lavender, I'd say so. The price is dear obviously, but the scent is magical, not super floral, more in the middle between floral and earthy. I've never been a huge fan of lavender like most people, but I must say smelling this loaf, I'm thinking I've changed:)

absolutely the best!
I REALLY do not Lavender...however, this has to be in my top three scents. I love that it is less camphorus, not so medicinal. I now sell alot of this in my frostings, butters and sugar scrubs because I rave about it!
