I love this Litsea EO, it is one of my favorite EOs to use! I use it in several combos in my CP soaps.
I had never tried Litsea before, but I took a chance and love it. It is like lemon but is brighter and holds up better in CP soap. I made some CP soap cubes using the tiger stripe layering and used Fizzy Lemonade, Fuchsia and Tangerine Wow colorants. It smelled looked and smelled just like sunshine!
This is a beautiful essential oil! It smells so fresh and bright...it was instantly uplifting out of the bottle. I blended it with lime essential oil and a touch of tangerine oil and got a nice Fruit Loopy scent. The blend went into the bottom green layer of my Under the Sea soaps that I make for my nephews. The top blue layer (with embedded whale shark eraser) was scented with the Bamboo FO and I gotta say, I want to keep these all to myself! Thank you Brambleberry for the awesome selection!
Received this in my sampler pack and I love it hopefully won't fade during curing process. I mixed it with three other EO in my cold process soaps not sure whether to use it by itself in COsoaps or not. I plan to order more can't of it yet, in process of moving out of state.
Litsea Cubeba was in a smapler kit. I have ordered more. Wonderful light, and blends so well, like a very soft sort of bergamot, citrus but soft. It lightens other blends. It is a good price. For soaps, use in rebatching or whipped soap as CP and HP may be too hard on this delicate oil.
