Description

Neroli: Neroli essential oil is highly prized for its therapeutic properties including sedative, calmative and a natural sleep aid. However, this wonderful oil is very expensive in the all natural essential oil and doesn't last very long in cold process soap.

Please note that this fragrance oil has been reformulated to meet new RIFM standards.

We've designed an exclusive Bramble Berry fragrance blend which contains some Neroli essential oil and is strengthened with notes of Cinnamon, Dill weed, Eucalyptus and orange fragrance. The Neroli blend is green on top and its heart is a fruity citrus accord. This fragrance lasts and lasts in cold process soap and better yet, it's more cost effective than essential oil!

NOTE: This medium-flashpoint oil (181ºF) will ship FedEx only, regardless of the shipping method you choose at checkout. It cannot ship via USPS (i.e. Priority Mail or Flat Rate)

Love, Love, Love!!!
I received this as a sample yesterday, and loved it so much that by the end of the day I was already soaping with it. I made 1lb of a "blue jeans" soap. (Not sure why but it seemed like the perfect FO for blue jeans looking soap.) It behaved beautifully in my CPOP, and smells wonderful!!! I can't wait for it to finish curing.

BB's description is very accurate
I think the description given is very accurate for this FO. There is a definite green note at the forefront. To me it smells a bit raw, like clary sage, and then behind it, the orange blossom smell comes through. It smells like neroli with the veil of green hiding it a touch. I knocked the one star off because it doesn't smell to me like straight neroli, but it behaves well.

I use this to make perfumes. It is a very true neroli scent.

Love This Neroli FO
I did the CPOP method with most of this soap, but I had a little extra soap that I put in a single cavity mold. The mold that went into the oven (as per SoapQueen.com) came out smelling AMAZING this morning. The soap in the single mold that didn’t go through gel phase has a lighter smell that is nice. The soap that went through gel phase has a stronger yet mellower scent that I like much more. I used 2 ounces of FO in a recipe with 36 total ounces of oils (68% Olive oil) and it is the perfect amount of scent for me. I can’t wait to try blending it as I don’t care for Patchouli and I am hoping this will be a good alternative.

Neroli FO
I was excited to try this FO since I live in the middle of citrus groves and love the smell of orange blossoms! However, I did not really care for the smokey overtones in CP soap scented with this FO.

Reply from Bramble Berry
Hi Mary! We are so sorry that this particular fragrance was not as orange-y as you had hoped. We would suggest trying out the Orange Blossom, Orange Grove or Orange Peel Fragrance Oils as ones you might like. And, if you wanted to try a more realistic Neroli, we would suggest our Neroli Essential Oil.

Thank you for your excellent customer service! I will try one of these!
