These bases are traditionally used for hand-milled recipes. They are sized in approximately one-pound bricks. If you want to use Norma Cooney's recipes from The Complete Soapmaker, or make Marie Browning's Beautiful Handmade Natural Soaps, you will want to use these bases. NOTE: We suggest you use Bramble Berry's water recommendations with the recipes in either of these books. We have found the water usage in their recipes results in soaps that come out a bit thin and liquidy.
Because of their unique handcrafted nature these bases are sold "deli" style. We will get as close to the pound increment you order as possible.
