High Melt Point
I use this to make shaving soap. Works great. It does have a MUCH higher melting temperature than your other soaping oils. Just be prepared to wait for the double boiler, or microwave quite a while.

Stearic Acid
I am sure the product is good, but I hate the packaging. I don't know if I opened it wrong, but when I opened the bag most of the white flake spilled onto the floor.

Excellent in Emulsified Sugar Scrubs
Small flakes of stearic acid melt easily in a double boiler. I have used this to make emulsified sugar scrubs.

Love this in my whipped cream soap!
I finally had an opportunity to try my hand at whipped cream soap & I used stearic acid from BB! It melted best in the microwave. I tried melting it other ways, but the microwave is best. It helped make my soap super creamy! Love it, about to order more!
