Wooden Log Molds with Removable Handles
10 lb mold:The inner dimensions (and therefore your final soap dimensions) are 3 3/8" wide by 33 1/2" long with a depth of 2 1/2" and the mold holds a 10 pound batch of soap (be sure to include your water in that calculation!). Sides are attached with metal hinges and the edges are nicely sanded.
Tips for using this mold: We recommend lining your mold with butcher paper or freezer paper to make sure you can easily remove your soap and to prevent the wood from warping. Once your soap is fully set-up just remove the handles and allow the sides to swing down for fast and easy removal of your soap. This mold is intended to be used with Cold Process Soap, however you can use Melt and Pour soap if you line the mold with one full sheet of plastic before pouring (Melted M&P is very thin when poured and can easily flow out through the seams otherwise.)
