Love this scent
Woodland Elves is a unique fragrance that I fell in love with last Christmas. I love the sweet and pine combo, so I'm giving it 5 stars for that. The four stars is because it can be tricky as I learned last year after 2 batches. However, I loved the scent so much that I determined to try it again! I think soaping at low temps is key with this one, and even then it didn't take long to set after pouring. I found this fragrance perfect for layering because it set up so nice and quick, allowing for clean pouring of each layer. I separated my soap into four containers and added the fragrance and color as I did each layer. A recipe with a lot of olive oil might allow for more working time, but I haven't tested that. In any case, this is a delightful fragrance, and I highly recommend it!

Smells great and sold very well
I had great results with this fragrance oil. Made 20 bars for the season and sold every last bar. Lots of folks asked if I will bring it back and of course I will. Thinking of making it a year round scent. It performed beautifully in cp soap. No acceleration or discoloration. I read the reviews where the fo accelerated so I soaped pretty cool (temps were in the 80's) and was ready for it.

My husband's favorite soap
I like the scent, but it siezed in my CP soap, though, to be fair, I used too much (1oz/pound). I was able to glop the soap in a mold and come out all right. No discolor. Some liked this fragrance, and some did not, because they said it smelled like "PineSol." However, my husband will fight to the death arguing that it DOES NOT! Heehee! I like the smell just fine.

Love it!
I just finished a batch of soap with this fragrance & besides a little quick acceleration, I am officially in love with this scent!! I did blend it with another fragrance that came as a sample to see if it "worked" and it did! So I didn't have any problems with the strong scent at all. Did I mention I love it? I will definitely be buying more both in season & out.

Lovely scent, fast acceleration.
I read the previous reviews and felt that I should be ok using this fragrance in a 2lb batch. i was anxious as always to use my free sample. So I combined it with Christmas Forest which behaved very well in a batch that I made 2 hrs before. But the soap accelerated on me so I could not properly mold the 3 color Christmas soap that I was layering. But I did not mind. I summed it up to trial and error as with any other FO. I molded the mixture as best as I could. Do not know if it is because I had no Olive oil in this batch. The smell is Christmassy and I am sure that it will be an enjoyable soap from me to my folks this season. Lovely seasonal scent, but==watch out for acceleration. Thanks again Bramble for your wonderful products and free samples in good measure.

Hi Marilyn! This fragrance does accelerate a bit because of the spicy notes of clove buds, so you will want to be aware of that when using it next time. Soaping at lower temperatures will help as well as adding in your fragrance at the very end!
