The Sudsy Story reads like an old fashioned fairy tale with a grand and wonderful happy ending. It is a story about family and realized dreams, about love lost and found and, in the end; it is also a great American success story.
It begins over forty years ago with two sisters separated before they had ever had the chance to meet one another. Nancy Hyatt and Sheri Parsonage had always known they had a sister out there somewhere and both had always wondered about the other. You see, Nancy, for reasons that seemed to make sense at the time, was given up for adoption shortly after she was born. Ever grateful for a wonderful and happy childhood, she still yearned to know her birth mother and meet her sister. So, unbeknownst to Sheri, Nancy had been searching for her for twenty-three years before serendipity along with a little luck finally brought them together.
Finally in June of 2002 they met face-to-face and a special bond was forged. Then these sisters, less than a year apart in age, embarked upon a journey of discovery that amazed and enthralled them both. Nancy and Sheri loved each other the minute they met and found they had more in common than they could have ever imagined, beginning with their two beautiful daughters, Megan 12 and Madison Faith 11, cousins who are now inseparable. The long lost sisters had both lived in Southern California less than an hour away from one another all their lives and, through their never ending conversation, they discovered how many places they had both frequented and vacationed and how often their paths could possibly have crossed. They shared every intimate secret sisters share and found a love unlike any other they had ever known.
But, among all their common interests, they found their destiny
a passion for pampering others. They discovered a gift they both shared for making soaps, lotions and other things that make people feel soft, special and spoiled. It started out as the most fun way these reunited sisters had to pass their precious time together but soon it seemed to take on a life of its own and, as fate played her hand, Sudsy Lady was born.
