Hello, my name is Janette Raiche and here is my story.
I have been an antique dealer for it seems as long as I can remember! I desired to start doing other things to incorporate into my business and felt that I did not have much talent, but I loved to bake and cook. I had started making my lown lotions and felt the need to do something more. I am a health enthusiast and started looking at what I was putting on my skin and noted that in Minnesota winters, my skin was always so dry.
The opportunity to take a soap making class arose when it was offered at a local community center class through our local high school. After doing the class I was so hooked on soap making. It was so much fun creating this soap. I suddenly could not get enough of it and continued to make soap on a daily basis. I started by giving it to everyone and proudly explaining that I had indeed made this myself. Soon, of course I started going to craft shows with my daughter and decided to give selling it a try and WOW I sold soap!
Soon I had a lot of people interested in my soap making and I have it in a couple of retail outlets and I am now going online and making my own recipes and offering classes at the local high school for my lotion and soap making.
I never dreamed that I could enjoy something so much and have a lot of fun sharing it with other people. Plus, guess what - I no longer have that horrible dry skin in the winter.
