Summertime Micas and Colorants

Cellini Blue: This is a deep, vibrant teal blue color. It is also an edible mica so it can be used in body dust, body butters and lip butters. This mica does require a bit of TLC when stirring in. We recommend mixing it with your fragrance oil (that you're using for the batch) as it is not as easily dispersible as our other micas. NOTE: This is a bleeding/migrating color. Please remember this when designing your soap.

Cellini Red: This is a wonderful red that is approved for use in lip products. In cold process soap, it goes a nice peach/pink color.

White: This mica is wonderful for getting a pearl effect from your soap. It creates a look that looks just like those wonderful pearls from the deep blue sea. It's what to use when you don't want a total opaque but want a refined effect.

Liquid Blue: This is ultramarine blue crushed finely and dispersed in pure vegetable glycerin. If you've had clumping problems in your melt and pour before with this colorant, you'll be pleased at the ease of use for this liquid color.

Summertime Fragrances

Any of the luscious scents in our new Limited Editions category would be excellent combined with the above molds and colors. More summertime fragrance oil suggestions below...

Energy: A stimulating blend of Citrus, including Grapefruit, Lemon and Lime, with hints of fresh Cucumber and Jasmine, and a touch of Pineapple, Blackberry and Champagne. Energy is an exciting mix that's perfect for spring and summer. Not safe for gel candles.

Ocean Rain: This isn't your average rain type of scent with floral notes; rather, this Rain is a clean, crisp scent, with notes reminiscent of Ocean type scents but not entirely and Ocean either! It sticks great in CP, doesn't discolor in the slightest and is a great unisex scent that says "I'm Refined! I'm Bracing! I'm Cool!"

Peach: Imagine biting in a fat, juicy peach. You know that sweet nectar that drips out? Well that's what this scent smells like - sweet, ripe and juicy. It really hangs on well in CP soap too! Discolors CP eventually to a light beige.

Rise and Shine: This scent is all about happiness and light. It contains a lot of fresh orange notes, with additional notes of Apple, Grapefruit, Peach and Strawberry with just a touch of Loganberry. Use Rise and Shine anytime you want to cheer yourself up!

NOTE: This fragrance has a borderline flashpoint (170degrees) so if you're making gel candles, please use caution.

Summer Fling: This new summer scent from Bramble Berry is full of fruits and flowers. Smelling strongly of Raspberries and Peaches, this blend is toned down by the white notes of Magnolias, Lilies and Cyclamen. Not one to let a fragrance fall flat in the bottom notes, Summer Fling also has White Musk as a supporting dry down. This fragrance is sweet and improves in cold-process by the day. It smells better after full cure-time than it does the day after. Like a fine wine, it ages well. Light, fresh, spring-like and sweet, this fragrance is sure to please anyone that likes BBW type scents.
