Not Happy

Divider Sets for both 9 bars and 18 bars are curved - i.e. not flat. I put some really heavy weights on them and left them for about a week in the hope that they will flattened out. They stayed curved. In this case what happens when you use them? - all soaps are not even. Such a simple item and I hope that you will find a way to resolve this problem. I would just love to be able to use them all the time!

The divider sets are made of a more flexible plastic which can bend. We found if you pour some very hot water over them will cause them to be more malleable. You can them put them in your mold or lay something heavy on them to help straighten them out.

I love my 9 bar mold and set however I am having to keep putting something on these dividers as they don't want to stay straight. I have to keep pressure on them when not in use.

Hi Debbie! I'm so glad you love our 9 Bar Unfinished Birchwood Mold! Though, I'm sorry your dividers seem crooked. I will email you personally to resolve this issue.

Construction too complicated

I was so looking forward to receiving this product. It arrived today and there are no instructions for how to put it together in order to have 9 equal bars of soap from the dividers. An online tutorial would be most helpful or at least include written step-by-step instructions included with the product. I wasted my money as there is no way I can use the dividers since I can't figure out how to get them together so each soap section measures equally. Very disappointed.

Hi Sherri! I’m sorry to hear that you find these dividers to be a little confusing. The easiest way to assemble the liners, is to place the border pieces in first. Then, place the shorter divider pieces in with the grooves facing up. From here, you can take the longer pieces and fit them on the shorter pieces by lining up the grooves. I will be contacting you personally to help you with this :) Some soapers like to place the divers in first, but you can also place the liner pieces in first, then place the divider pieces after you make your soap, as seen in this Swirled Heart Cold Process Video.
