Didn't know how much I would love it!

I bought this on a whim and thought it smelled ok in the bottle, nothing to excite me. But every time I smell this soap I swoon. I I LOVE it! It's what I keep pulling from out stock of about 50 varieties to use in my own home. Have had no trouble with this fragrance either. It is a keeper.

Smells awesome, but... I had major issues!

...this FO volcanoed on me twice, using two different recipes. The first CP batch I made was 100% coconut oil, room temp Chai tea in place of water for lye solution...so I soaped at a higher temp, around 130 degrees. First it seized as soon as I added the oil, so I frantically scooped the raw soap into he mold. Within minutes it started oozing up like crazy. Popped it into the freezer to cool, and was able to kind of salvage the batch. Round two I soaped with goat milk so I kept the temperature around 90 degrees. Again, shortly after I poured, it began to produce volcanoes. :( This batch was also popped into the freezer (from where it toppled out and onto the floor...user error). About half was salvaged. Help! What am I doing wrong?! I'm an experienced CP soaper and have never had this happen... it's supposed to behave well in cold process soap but sadly not for me, and I LOVE the fragrance! :(

Terrible!

This FO was absolutely terrible for me- as SOON as it touched my batter it turned into week old playdoh and got so hot it burned my hands THROUGH the plastic! Worse, it smells nothing like Chai and now I've got a giant bottle of the stuff I can't figure out what to do with. Usually my experience with BrambleBerry is great but this one... this one is almost enough to turn me away entirely.

Perfume not Chai

This scent lacked the spicy notes of tea masala. It doesn't smell nasty, just not like chai.

Tina from Bramble Berry replies...
Chai Tea Cybilla definitely is more of a warm a buttery tea scent with a little bit of spice. If you're looking for spicier scents you may prefer Arabian Spice Fragrance Oil, Gingersnap Fragrance Oil, or Zanzibar Spice Fragrance Oil.

Light scent

Most of the scents I get from here are fine to use in medium range from your fragrance calculator. This scent needs to be reevaluated. I can barely smell my fresh cut bars. I definitely recommend the strong amount for anyone who uses this.

Tina from Bramble Berry replies...
For a strong scent we would recommend using 0.8 oz per pound of cold process soap, using our Fragrance Calculator. Though we do choose all of our fragrance oils based off of a 6 week cure time so if you wait the full cure it may come back stronger at that point. Since you did not use the maximum amount of fragrance you can also always rebatch your soap and add more in, find out how in our How to Rebatch Soap video.
