Wonderful detail

I was a bit leery about using these molds due to comments about getting the soap out. But I used this one & the Rose one & love them. The detail you get with these molds is outstanding. It took a little patience & putting pressure in the center of the cavity, but they came out completely intact. Didn't have to freeze them first or anything. Scented both of them with BB Gardenia FO. Will definitely use again.

So disappointed

I purchased this mold along with the Rosette mold. I have only used the rosette so far & I regret even trying it & destroying my soap. The soap will not come out. My husband even tried, since he has much stronger hands then I. I have tried putting in freezer &a it did not change a thing. Please do not buy this product. It is terrible

Hi Candy! I'm sorry you had that experience. We love this detailed Chrysanthemum Mold! Though it is made out of a hard plastic which can definitely be harder to unmold from, especially when making cold process soap. While with some molds CP soap is ready to unmold within 48 hours or so due to the restricted airflow with plastic the soap can take much longer to harden and remove, even up to 2 weeks! Sodium Lactate is a great option to help with this as it is a hardening agent in soap. For more tips check out our Unmolding Cold Process Soap from Plastic Molds blog post.
