I bought this butter and used it my very first time making lotion. My lotion turned out wonderful and very addicting! This coffee butter smells just like roasted coffee beans it smells amazing! My lotion also smells amazing and is super hydrating for my skin. I read the reviews of other people and I keep my butter in the fridge which made scooping it out very easy to work with. Also you don't really need a coffee fragrance or colors to make a coffee lotion with this. The natural coffee smell and color from the butter is so wonderful my lotion didn't need much else. I did add some complimentary essential oils that blend well with coffee. To love this butter you must love coffee otherwise you should probably stick to a more nuetral butter like deodarised cocoa butter but for me it was simply fantastic!
I love the product and it smells wonderful. I wish I had read the reviews about the packaging first though. I certainly would have waited until fall to have ordered it. This summer, in Georgia, the temps have been around 115º. The coffee butter melted somewhat and leaked from the little plastic baggie it was twisted up in. It got all over everything else I ordered. On the plus side, now anytime I want to feel like I'm at a Starbucks, all I have to do is stick my head in the shipping box! :)
I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I love the smell of coffee. This butter has a very strong coffee scent and feels wonderful on the skin. It is soft and easy to work with. I mixed it with cocoa butter, shea butter, and some flavored oil. This makes a great "edible" massage balm. I also made a coffee scrub with it. Because it is coffee, it will pair nicely with scents like hazelnut, chocolate, and vanilla.
This coffee butter smells absolutely wonderful, and is the perfect addition to any coffee scrub bar. Excellent product!
It smells a little strong at first, but blend with your favourite coffee FO and you have a hit. I made a foaming face wash and it was wonderful on my skin. I blended some cocoa butter with it and coffee infused avocado oil and its devine. I didn't add a large amount, so you can easily make many applications and charge what you think it costs to make and still make a profit.
