Hummingbird mold

Horrible mold— couldn’t get the soaps out

Tina from Bramble Berry replies...
The heavy duty molds can be a bit trickier to remove from since they are made from a hard plastic. For tips check out our Unmolding Cold Process Soap From Plastic Molds blog post. If making melt and pour soap you can put your mold in the freezer for about 30 minutes to help you unmold. This will constrict the soap, making it easier to pop out.

Beautiful detail

Just used this mold for the 1st time and I will be getting more. Made cold process (lavendar and herb) and did add sodium lactate. Left it in the mold for 3 days and then put it in the freezer for about an hour. Pull out a little on the sides (like they tell you to do) & then tip upside down and push out. The detail is beautiful - even the little feathers on the hummingbird came through. Makes a great big bar of soap - think I like these molds better than silicone.
