too pale

Don't get me wrong it's a nice pale pink.. But if you are looking for a pink pink this is not the one.. I used 1/4 of the 1oz bottle in a 1lb white base and the color stayed toooo pale.. Maybe will use it with clear MP only..

Quartz Pink

One drop of this pink mixed with once ounce of clear M&P made a very very pale clear pink- just like pink quartz. It is a very delicate color. If you are looking for a deep pink, count on using A LOT of this colorant.

Use oils

I've had success dissolving oxides in oil. I typically take some of the melted oil for CP and put it in a small jar. Then add a small (very small) amount of the oxide. Shake it up. It disperses better in hot oils. I've had very little speckling this way. You may still get speckle if you use too much oxide powder. I realize this article was about liquid oxides. I've manually dissolved powdered oxides in liquid glycerin, more speckle is the result in my experience so far...

This is more of a purple then pink. Very disappointed.

Hi Cathy! I'm sorry this color was not the pink you were looking for. We used this pink colorant in our Eggcellent Easter Egg Melt and Pour Project, and loved the soft pink it gave. If you are looking for other pink colorant options, you may like the you may like the Fired up Fuchsia Color Block, or the Electric Bubblegum Color Block!
