Mauvey Gem Mica: This soft purple color is lovely in melt and pour and lotion bars. It provides a nice light shimmer. This color can fade to a light pink if it is overheated, so keep all temperatures below 150F.
NOTE: This mica is not suitable for CP soaps.Safe for use in eye shadows
To use this mica in Melt and Pour Soap: Wet the mica with rubbing alcohol until a liquid slurry is made. This usually is about a 1:1 mix of mica and rubbing alcohol. Add the desired amount of the slurry to the melted soap and stir to combine.

Beautiful light pink color, and with hardly any speckling! It's definitely lighter than the powder suggests, since it's more of a purple color, but I'm still happy with how it turned out.
Haven't Used this yet, but I want to buy. This looks like Purple but the description says Pink. I am looking for purple for my lotion bars.
Reply from Bramble Berry Hi Lia! Depending on how much you use, this color create a light pink or a deep purple in melt and pour soap. It's very versatile! You can see both shades in this Flip Flop Soap Kit blog post. I'll be emailing you personally to discuss this!
I use this mica in eyeshadow and it's very easy to blend. Customers love the shade.
This colorant works so well, I haven't ever needed to use an oil in it. The color is beautiful in MP.
