I used this for melt and pour and I can't get the soaps out of the mold !!! I've tried popping it in the freezer but no luck. Please advise as I just ordered four more of these molds. Thanks!
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Joan! I'm sorry to hear you're having some trouble releasing your soap! We find our Wax Tart molds to be very easy to release from. If the freezer trick didn't work for you, try gently pulling the sides of the mold cavities to break the airlock, then turn the mold over and press firmly with the palm of your hand. The soap should pop right out! Another thing to note is if using extra oils / additives in melt and pour soap. the consistency may drastically change. This can cause the unmolding of your soap to be more difficult than normal!
I used this mold to make the toilet Fizzy recipe. It worked perfect for this. Then I used to make little embeds. Despite spritzing with alcohol before using they were a bit difficult to remove. They were really beautiful though.
