mine is more of a question than anything

I am new to this industry but I am having a lot of fun making bath bombs and wax tarts and I thought I wohld try my hand at bubble bars. I ordered this kit but I got mine with SLSA bc it seems more sensitive. I love the look of the rolled and sliced bubble bars compared to the look of the actual rectangle bar. Would I be able to roll this recipe like the other kit? If not and I use a cookie cutter will I be able to re roll the extra dough?

Chillaxin Solid Bubble Bath

I worked up this bubble bar with great disappointment. I found the batter hard to work up and very very crumbly. The finished product is crumbly as well. In all honesty though, I used SLSA not SLS. Do you suppose this is my issue?

Hi Ja! I'm sorry you were disappointed in this kit. We love this Solid Bubble Bath Bar Kit though it does make a super hard bar of bubble bath that is meant to be crumbled. The substitution of SLSA for SLS may have affected your end results, though this recipe will always end up somewhat crumbly after drying. You can try adding more of the Liquid Soap Concentrate Base to make the recipe easier to work with. You also might try our other bubble bar recipe which has a more moist base to it in our How To Make Solid Bubble Bath on Soap Queen TV.
