White Melt and Pour Soap Base - Terrific for creating your own soap without the wait involved with Cold Process. Melt and pour soapmaking also allows for a wide range of creativity. This is opaque (white) - you cannot see through it. The same high quality as our other melt and pour bases.

It worked really nice and was easy to use. Makes great pastel soaps.
I am a new soaper/lotioner/trying many things. I am trying to be as natural as possible, and I am finding, on my own fault, that I need to get to the "fine details" of ingredients before I use them.
I really liked this soap, it made a great base of fun things, but the titanium dioxide will deter me from buying it again. too many warnings about that stuff. I will buy the pure glycerin and color if I need to, or not!
I am not sure if Brambleberry has also replaced this white with the Stephenson, as well, but I am very disappointed with every bit of my last order. Very crumbly; most of it landed on the floor, and was rendered unusable. It doesn't look anything like the picture. If you think big folds of a plastic bag melted into the mixture is usable, you've got another thing coming. And, of course, it's do or die with it since there is no money back guarantee. Since you are buying it from someone else, you are especially responsible for the money-back guarantee, though. Don't not guarantee such a sub-standard...it's way too expensive to not have some kind of backing to YOUR product. Don't put your name on it if you are not sure what someone else is producing for your company.
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Karen! I am so sorry you were disappointed with this base! We have not switched our Bramble Berry bases with the Stephenson; we just added another option! There definitely should not be plastic running throughout your soap, it sounds like you may have gotten a defective batch. I will email you directly to resolve this issue.
While this white melt and pour base does melt nicely and makes a beautiful soap, it DOES NOT lather hardly at all.
Reply from Bramble Berry Hi Lisa! I'm so sorry this soap base was not your favorite. We love this base; it has great cleansing qualities and makes beautiful designs as demonstrated in the Faux Swirl Melt and Pour Cubes tutorial. However it may not have as much lather as our Shaving Melt and Pour Base which you just might love! That base definitely has lots of bubbles! I'll be emailing you personally to discuss this further.
I got both the clear and white to do the Cool Yule Peppermint Bar you show on Soap Queen. Bars worked great could not be happier with how they melted but when soap is done it sweats. Not sure if I did something wrong or if it is the peppermint. Did try to make just plain soap embeds with no fragrance and it did the same thing embeds turned frosted wet and sweaty.
Reply from Bramble BerryHi Ann! Our melt and pour bases have extra glycerin added during the manufacturing process. This helps moisturize your skin, but it can also cause sweating, or glycerin dew. This is especially the case in humid climates. You can prevent it though! You can leave your unmolded soaps in front of a fan, or wrap them in plastic wrap and use a heat gun to adhere it tightly. The Augh! What's THAT All Over My Soap post has more information. You may also like our LCP bases, which have little to no sweating. I'll be emailing you personally to discuss this!
