This is a wonderfully kind recipe for keeping hands, feet and any part of dry skin soft and silky.
However, I found that the listed ingredients form a rather too solid balm. I "played" with the recipe and finally tripled the meadow foam seed oil. Yes, I added 12 ozs instead of 4ozs - it makes the balm much more manageable.
if you really wanted to make it creamy, you could add 1 oz of Castor Oil and 1/16 of a teaspoon of Borax dissolved in 1 oz of Boiling water. This would have to be whipped in when all the oils have dissolved, then poured into the containers 6-7 jars while still very warm.
(The Borax emulsifies and maintains stability of the cream - it will last for years in a cool place)
