Pumpkin Sandalwood Scrub Project
- Skill Level: Beginner
- Time: 30 minutes
- Yield: About 40 ounces of scrub
Project Description
Pumpkin Sandalwood Fragrance Oil will be an instant hit with your customers. It has the notes you know and love - cinnamon and pumpkin - but there are also unique notes like blackberry, sandalwood, and tobacco.
We paired it with all things pumpkin in this scrub. It’s made with sugar, pumpkin powder, and pumpkin extract. Your skin will feel smooth and hydrated after every use.
You will need:
- Three 8 oz. Bail Jars
- 32 oz. Cane Sugar (from home)
- 1 oz. Pumpkin Powder
- 4 oz. Pumpkin Extract
- 3 oz. Cocoa Butter
- 1 oz. Emulsifying Wax
- 0.6 oz. Pumpkin Sandalwood Fragrance Oil
Follow these steps:
1
Add 32 ounces of cane sugar into a large bowl. Add 1 ounce of pumpkin powder and mix. Tip: If your pumpkin powder is clumpy, push it through a mesh strainer into the bowl.
2
To a small heat-safe container, add 4 ounces of pumpkin extract, 3 ounces of cocoa butter, and 1 ounce of emulsifying wax. Place in the microwave and melt using 30-60 second bursts. Be careful when removing from the microwave - it will be quite hot.
3
Add 0.6 ounces of Pumpkin Sandalwood Fragrance Oil to the melted oil and butter mixture. Stir thoroughly.
4
Pour the oil mixture into the sugar and mix until everything is combined.
5
Scoop the scrub into the jars (or any other containers you prefer). We filled about 3 jars with a little bit left over. Store in a cool and dry place. To use, apply to wet skin and scrub. Enjoy!
