CBD Lip Balm Project

Project Description
Our Hemp Lip Balm Base is ready to customize with your favorite additives. We used a touch of CBD oil and Hungarian lavender essential oil. It's firm enough for tubes, but can also be poured into a lip pot if you prefer.
Click here to learn more about using CBD oil in your bath and beauty products. For this project, we used a full spectrum CBD oil from Ology Essentials. Be sure to select an oil-based product for this recipe, not one that's made with water or alcohol.
This recipe makes 1.5 ounces of lip balm split between 10 tubes. Each one contains 10 mg of CBD. You can add more or less CBD based on your preference and the concentration of your oil. If you don't have it or don't want to use it, you can leave it out.

You will need:
- 10 Slidey Lip Tins
- 3 oz. Hemp Lip Balm Base
- 8 mL CBD Oil *See note
- 1 mL Hungarian Lavender Essential Oil
Follow these steps:

In a small heat-safe container, add 3 ounces of Hemp Lip Balm Base. Place the container in the microwave and melt the balm using 30-60 second bursts. Remove from the microwave carefully, as the container will be very hot.

Add 1 mL of Hungarian lavender essential oil and 8 mL of CBD oil. Mix thoroughly.

Carefully pour the lip balm into each tin. Use a dropper if you're having trouble pouring. Allow the balms to fully cool and enjoy.
