Project Description

You're going to love the way this Murumuru Butter Balm feels on the skin. It's super moisturizing and rich in high oleic acid.

Murumuru butter has a firm texture, and it's known for its ability to seal in moisture on the skin. Ours is wild harvested, sustainable, and sourced from a co-op in the Amazon that employs local people and pays them fairly. Jojoba oil provides additional skin-loving properties, and allows the balm to glide comfortably.

The balm is lightly scented with Forest Oud and Balsam Fragrance Oil. It is a complex green scent, with notes of balsam, oud, and vetiver. We love how it smells in combination with yellow beeswax.

*Black Push Tubes have been temporarily replaced with Kraft Push Tubes.

*Black Push Tubes have been temporarily replaced with Kraft Push Tubes.

You will need:

  • 4 Paperboard Push Tubes
  • 2.5 oz. Murumuru Butter
  • 2.5 oz. Jojoba Oil
  • 2 oz. Beeswax
  • 0.2 oz. Vitamin E Oil
  • 3 mL Forest Oud Fragrance Oil

Follow these steps:

1

In a small heat-safe container, combine 2.5 ounces of murumuru butter, 2.5 ounces of jojoba oil, and 2 ounces of yellow beeswax. Place in the microwave and melt using 30-60 second bursts.

2

When it's almost melted, carefully remove the container from the microwave and add 0.2 ounces of vitamin E oil and 3 mL of Forest Oud and Balsam Fragrance Oil. Stir thoroughly, allowing the heat to melt the remaining beeswax. If necessary, place back in the microwave using 15 second bursts.

3

Ensure the paper disk of the push tube is fully seated at base of tube before filling. Carefully pour the mixture into each tube. Allow to cool completely for 2-3 hours.

4

Once the product is fully set and you're ready to use, push the bottom of the tube up and apply directly to dry areas of the skin.
