Rosehip Seed Bath Salts Projecthttps://www.brambleberry.com/in-the-studio/projects/body-care/rosehip-seed-bath-salts-project/PS000174.html
In terms of DIY, bath salts are one of the easiest to make. Simply adding plain salt (such as Epsom or Dead Sea salt) straight to the tub is great for the skin. But taking the time to add a few extra ingredients creates a recipe that's perfect for gifting.
This recipe is made with fine grained Dead Sea salt. It comes from Israel via the Dead Sea, where many people travel to soak in its water. Dead Sea salt contains a large amount of magnesium, potassium, bromides and chloride which feel great on the skin.
Rosehip seed oil adds vitamins A and C, and it gives your bath water moisturizing properties. A touch of evening primrose extract is also added, which is wonderful for dry and mature skin. Polysorbate 80 disperses the oil throughout the bath water and prevents it from pooling on top. Rose Quartz Fragrance Oil adds a fresh scent, and red rose petals and a touch of Rose Gold Mica dress up the salts.

Rosehip Seed Bath Salts Project
A hot bath is the perfect way to relax and unwind, especially during the winter months. Add these bath salts for a truly luxurious experience.
Three 8 oz. Plastic Bail Jars
20 oz. Fine Grained Dead Sea Salt
1/4 tsp. Rose Gold Mica
1 oz. Rosehip Seed Oil
0.2 oz. Evening Primrose Extract
0.3 oz. Rose Quartz Fragrance Oil
0.2 oz. Polysorbate 80
0.2 oz. Rose Petals
5 mL Optiphen
In a small container, mix 1 ounce of rosehip seed oil, 0.2 ounces of evening primrose extract, 5 mL of Optiphen, and 0.2 ounces of polysorbate 80. Mix well. Note about preservatives: Although these salts don't contain water, they will likely get water splashed in during use. We added a preservative to be extra careful, but it is optional.
Add 0.3 ounces of Rose Quartz Fragrance Oil and mix.
In a large bowl, add 20 ounces of fine grained Dead Sea salt and 1/4 teaspoon pf Rose Gold Mica. Mix until completely combined.
Add the liquid mixture into the salts and use a spoon or spatula to fully mix everything together.
Add 0.2 ounces of rose petals and mix. Spoon the mixture into jars. Once you’re ready to use, add a few heaping tablespoons into the hot bath and enjoy!
