Project Description

This Moon Child Salt Scrub makes your skin feel smooth and soft.

This Moon Child Salt Scrub is easy to make and it leaves skin feeling smooth. First, avocado butter and orchid extract are blended together - we recommend using a hand or stand mixer. A touch of Liquid Soap Concentrate Base is added to help the scrub wash away cleanly. Then fine grained Dead Sea salt is mixed in, along with a dash of mica.

It's scented with Moon Child Fragrance Oil, which is a complex blend of white tea, rose, bergamot, and musk.

You will need:

  • Four 8 oz. Bail Jars
  • 3 oz. Avocado Butter
  • 0.7 oz. Liquid Soap Concentrate Base
  • 1 oz. Orchid Extract
  • 1 oz. Moon Child Fragrance Oil
  • 32 oz. Fine Grained Dead Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Galaxy Violet Mica
  • 1/4 tsp. Queen's Purple Mica

Follow these steps:

1

Add 3 ounces of avocado butter and 1 ounce of orchid extract to a large mixing bowl. Turn your hand or stand mixer on low and blend until incorporated. Increase the speed and continue to whip until the butter is soft and there are no large chunks.

4

Add 32 ounces of fine grained Dead Sea salt and stir well.

5

Scoop the scrub into jars. Store in a cool and dry place. To use, apply to wet skin and scrub. Wash off. Enjoy!
