Wildflower Honey Sugar Scrub Projecthttps://www.brambleberry.com/in-the-studio/projects/body-care/soaks-and-scrubs/wildflower-honey-sugar-scrub-project/PS000135.html
A combination of jojoba oil and potassium cocoate are added to the dry ingredients for a soft, wet sand texture. Jojoba oil is a luxurious liquid wax that is produced from the seed of the jojoba shrub. Potassium cocoate is the potassium salt of coconut fatty acid, and acts similar to liquid soap. In this scrub, it helps give a mild lather and leaves skin feeling clean rather than oily.

Wildflower Honey Sugar Scrub Project
Sugar scrubs are a favorite of ours; they are easy to make and feel refreshing on the skin.
Three Short 8 oz. Plastic Bail Jars
18 oz. Granulated Sugar
1.5 oz. Jojoba Oil
0.5 oz. Potassium Cocoate
4 Tbsp. Poppy Seeds
6 mL Wildflower Honey Fragrance Oil
2.5 mL Optiphen
Note: This project was originally made with Strawberry Seeds, which were discontinued. Poppy Seeds creates a similar product but it will be different from the photos below.
In a small container, mix together 1.5 ounces of jojoba oil and 0.5 ounces of potassium cocoate. The mixture will become cloudy and thick.
Add 6 mL of Wildflower Honey Fragrance Oil and 2.5 mL of Optiphen. Use a spoon to thoroughly mix the ingredients.
In a large separate container, mix together 18 ounces of sugar and 4 tablespoons of poppy seeds.
Add the liquid ingredients into the sugar and poppy seeds. Use a spatula or gloved hands to fully combine. Spoon into jars. To use, apply to damp skin, and scrub in circular motions. Wash off. Enjoy!
