Rebatch Soap Project
This project is so easy to make. Just heat the rebatch, add fragrance, and top with dried flowers for an elegant finishing touch.
1 lb. Luxury Rebatch
¼ cup Distilled Water
0.5 oz. Lavender 40/42 Essential Oil
Place a sauce pot on the stove and add 1 pound of rebatch. Set the stove on low and add about 2 tablespoons of distilled water. You can also use a slow cooker on high.
Stir the rebatch frequently as it heats up and add more water if necessary. It will take about 15-30 minutes to soften. The finished consistency is similar to thick mashed potatoes.
When the rebatch is the right consistency, turn the heat off and remove the pot from the stove. Add 0.5 oz. of lavender essential oil and stir until it’s fully incorporated.
Sprinkle a pinch of dried lavender into 5 mold cavities. Spoon the rebatch into the mold. With gloves on to protect your hands from the heat, pack the rebatch in firmly.
Let the rebatch cool and harden for a few hours or up to overnight. To unmold, pull the sides of each cavity, flip the mold over, and gently press the bars out.
Make a second batch of rebatch by repeating steps 1-5. Enjoy.
