Peach Bellini Lip Gloss Project
- Skill Level: Beginner
- Time: 30 minutes
- Yield: About 10 tubes
Project Description
This Peach Bellini Lip Gloss is perfect for spring and summer. The combination of micas and lip balm colorants creates a sheer peachy tint. It's lightly scented with Peach Bellini Flavor Oil.
Creating this project is easy with our Natural Lip Gloss Base. At room temperature, it's a semi-solid glossy texture. Once heated, it becomes a liquid. That makes it easy to stir in color and scent.
When filling the lip gloss tubes, we recommend using a dropper. Don't fill to the very top of each tube - leave a little bit of room. Once the wand is inserted, it will push the product up the tube.

You will need:
- 10 Lip Gloss Tubes
- 3 oz. Natural Lip Gloss Base
- 2 mL Pineapple Flavor Oil*
- 1 tsp. King's Gold Mica
- 1.5 tsp. Rose Pearl Mica
- 1/4 tsp. Magenta Mica
- Dropper
*Note: This project was originally made with Peach Bellini Flavor Oil, which was discontinued. It has been substituted with Pineapple Flavor Oil.
EQUIPMENT PREP: Disinfect your utensils by dipping them in a 5% bleach water solution and allowing to dry. This includes mixing containers and any spoons or spatulas that may come in contact with the gloss. Your products must be as free of germs, bacteria, and microbes as possible.
Follow these steps:
1
Place 3 ounces of Natural Lip Gloss Base into a small heat-safe container. Heat in the microwave using 10-15 second bursts until the base is a thin, liquid consistency.
2
Add 1 teaspoon of King's Gold Mica, 1.5 teaspoons of Rose Pearl Mica, and 1/4 teaspoons of Magenta Mica. Stir thoroughly to incorporate and break up clumps.
3
Add 2 mL of Peach Bellini Flavor Oil and mix thoroughly. Tip: If the base starts to cool and become thick, place it in the microwave and reheat using 5-10 second bursts.
4
Carefully use the dropper to fill the lip gloss tube. Don't fill to the very top - leave a little bit of room. Once the wand is inserted, it will push the product up the tube.
5
Push in the piece that wipes off excess product. Finally, screw in the cap with attached doe foot applicator.
6
Fill the rest of the tubes. Allow the lip gloss to fully cool and enjoy!
