Description
These cute car soaps are very simple to make and fun to use in the tub. It's a great project to make with kids - they'll love stirring in the glitter, color, and fragrance oil.
The bars are scented with Tropical Punch Fragrance Oil, which smells just like the real thing. The Fine Silver Rainbow EcoGlitter is biodegradable, so you can feel good about it going down the drain.

Car Melt and Pour Soap Project
This is a great project to make with kids!
Ingredients
6 Cavity Kids Vehicles Silicone Mold
16 oz. Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base
Kelly Green Color Block
Caribbean Blue Color Block
Perfect Red Color Block
0.3 oz. Tropical Punch Fragrance Oil
1/2 tsp. Fine Silver Rainbow EcoGlitter
99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
Instructions
1 |
Chop 16 ounces of Clear Melt and Pour into small uniform cubes. Place them in a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 30 second bursts.
|
2 |
Add 0.3 ounces of Tropical Punch Fragrance Oil and 1/2 teaspoon of Fine Silver Rainbow EcoGlitter. Stir to fully combine.
|
3 |
Split the soap evenly into 3 separate containers - it's okay to eyeball it. Add a chunk of Perfect Red Color Block to one container, Kelly Green Color Block to the second, and Caribbean Blue Color Block to the third. Stir to incorporate. If the soap isn't quite hot enough to melt the Color Blocks, place each container back in the microwave for 5-10 second bursts.
|
4 |
Pour each color into 2 mold cavities. Spray with alcohol to get rid of bubbles.
|
5 |
Allow to fully cool and harden for several hours and remove from the mold. Enjoy!
