This solid perfume balm is made using the Classic Coco Fragrance Oil, our take on the iconic Chanel No. 5 perfume.

The star of this project is our Lip Balm Base, which can be used to create solid perfumes as well as lip balms. We added a touch of Rose Gold Mica for a pretty pink hue and the Slide Top Lip Tins for compact and convenient application on the go.

Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
  • Lip Balm Base - 4 oz
  • Rose Gold Mica - 1 oz
  • Classic Coco Fragrance Oil - Trial Size
EQUIPMENT:
  • Slide Top Lip Tins - 10 tins

Instructions

You will need:

  • 10 Slide Lip Tins
  • 2 oz Lip Balm Base
  • .275 oz Classic Coco Fragrance Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Rose Gold Mica

Follow these steps:

1

In a small heat-safe container, add 2 oz of Lip Balm Base. Place the container in the microwave and melt the balm using 30-60 second bursts. Remove from the microwave carefully, as the container will be very hot.

2

Add .275 oz of Classic Coco Fragrance Oil, stirring thoroughly to combine. Sprinkle a tiny bit of Rose Gold Mica until you've achieved your desired hue.

3

Pour carefully into the Slide Lip Tins and let harden for several hours. Enjoy!
