Hazelnut Toffee Fragrance Oil – Proving that one can never have too many Vanilla based fragrances, this warm and toasty fragrance smells delightful out of the bottle and even better in soap. Roasted warm hazelnuts meld beautifully with the sultry notes of Madagascar vanilla and supporting notes of marshmallow fluff, butterscotch taffy, caramel, and a touch of golden walnut butter and shea nut round out this crowd pleaser of a fragrance. Tested in CP and it does great though will discolor brown in all types of soap.

Liquid Castile Testing Notes: We tested this fragrance in our liquid Castile soap base, we recommend making a small test batch just to be sure you like the results. Thickens when initally mixed. Final soap is dark brown, opaque and slightly thickened.

We have now used this fragrance twice in goats milk soap. Both time the results have been disastrous. The scent seems to separate from the soap and pool in the bottom of the mold. We have not had this issue with other fragrances, so it should not be an issue with our recipe. On the plus side it does smell awesome, if it would just combine with the soap!
Kelsey from Bramble Berry replies...HI Veronica! I'm so glad you think our Hazelnut Toffee Fragrance Oil smells awesome! I'm sorry you've had some trouble working with it. In our tests and recipes, this fragrance soaped great and we did not experience any separation. Customer service has contact you directly to help troubleshoot!
When I first opened the bottle it smells rather artificial and coyingly sweet, with an undertone of artificial butter flavoring. Decides to give it a try anyway and blend it with a mocha FO for my coffee ground scrubby CP. It accelerates somewhat (even I was soaping very cool) but manageable. It has been almost three weeks and the scent become much less artificial and takes on a more subtle, sweet, nutty tone.
I order this because it was on sale and I was curious to see what this scent would smell like. It is quite delicious smelling. To me sweet toffee scent definitely dominates more, with subtle hazelnut. It also has a bit of a chocolate scent to me, and reminds me of heath bars a lot (which I LOVE!). I can't wait to try it out in a bath bomb!
I used this with goat milk melt and pour base and it smells more like sweetened butter than hazelnut and toffee. I feel it needs something else to add depth or interest. No discoloration whatsoever. Maybe the hazelnut will come through in CP soap?
This is spot on to the description !
I'll be mixing it with a coffee scent in a body butter ! Can't wait to try it ! On a side note the customer service is the BEST around from answering questions to shipping & packaging !
