Find out how much of this scent to use
Honey Ale Fragrance Oil: This sweet beer type fragrance is a fruity and sweet mixture of Ripe Strawberries, Sweet Apples, Grape Concord, Sparkling Citrus, Honey and Spiced Vanilla. You're going to LOVE this unique blend. In cold process soap it loses some of the sweet honey notes leaving you with a fresh, fruity and crisp scent. Soaps beautifully in cold process soap and discolors to a light tan color. Our beer fragrances are not meant to smell like beer own their own, but do compliment beer-type cold process recipes like Luck of the Green Beer, Black and Tan Beer Soap and Oatmeal Stout Cold Process.

I used this oil for the first time this morning in my normal beer soap recipe(cp). I kept a portion unfragranced to swirl with and that part was fine, no issues. The batter with the honey ale was a nightmare in 1 min flat though. It went from thick to mashed potatoes. I got it in the mold quickly and am now just crossing my fingers that it didn't rice as well. By the time I poured the other layer on top it was totally seized. This whole thing took less than five minutes. I was really disappointed as the bottle states it behaves well. I probably won't be purchasing this again unless it smells amazing and isn't totally ruined.
Love the smell; have used twice with total trace and blob!! Made shampoo bars, then used again in a beeswax soap. End of that bottle and will not reorder.
Please don't judge this one right out of the bottle. I liked the smell when I opened it but I love it now that I made some soap with it. It is a bright clean scent that opens up once you add it to your soap. This is going to be a favorite of mine. I can't wait to try the other beer fragrances I bought. This one is a keeper.
I can hardly keep beer soaps in stock. Out of all of the difference ale fragrance oils that I use, this one is my customers favorite!! Don't judge this fragrance by the smell out of the bottle. It blends with the beer in your soap and smells wonderful after its cured for 4 weeks.
I really liked the way this fragrance smelled out of the bottle, and I still like it in my mess that it created. I was following the Luck of the Green Beer recipe, but making a loaf instead of cups. I added this FO at a thin trace and it all just went downhill from there. It did some nasty things and I ended up having to put the soap on the stove to try and fix it. I'm not sure what went wrong or where.
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Jessica! I'm so glad you really liked the scent of our Honey Ale Fragrance Oil. Though, I'm sorry it accelerated and riced on you. In our tests and recipes this fragrance soaped beautifully as seen in the Luck of the Green Beer (CP tutorial). There can be other reasons for acceleration like soaping with high temperatures or additives. I will email you personally to help troubleshoot!
