Reply from Bramble BerryHi Rachelle! I'm sorry this mold wasn't your favorite. Because your cold process soap is not being exposed to a lot of air, it may need to stay in the mold up to 1-2 weeks. To help release it faster, you can use more hard oils in your recipe, like coconut oil and palm oil. Sodium lactate is also a great tool! Adding 1 tsp. per pound of oils to your cooled lye water helps soap release faster. You can read more about that in this Sunday Night Spotlight: Sodium Lactate blog post. I'll be emailing you personally to help out!
