You’ve shampooed, you've conditioned, and now it’s time to add some texture to your hair with a Pink Sea Salt Beach Spray. This simple spray recipe relies on Dead Sea Salt and Pink Sea Salt to give your hair body, volume, and texture while enhancing any natural waves or curls.

Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
  • Dead Sea Salt - Fine - 2 lbs
  • Pink Sea Salt - Extra Fine - 2 lbs
  • Aloe Vera Liquid - 1 lb
  • Sicilian Sea Breeze Fragrance Oil - Trial Size
  • 4 oz Brushed Aluminum Bottle with White Pump Spray Cap - 10
  • Germaben Preservative - 1 oz
EQUIPMENT:

Instructions

You will need:

  • 32 oz Aloe Vera Liquid
  • 4 oz Pink Sea Salt, Extra Fine
  • 4 oz Dead Sea Salt, Fine
  • 10 ml Germaben 
  • 4 oz. Brushed Aluminum Spray Bottles (8 Total)
  • Sicilian Sea Breeze Fragrance Oil (optional)
  • Droppers

Follow these steps:

In a large container, pour Aloe Vera Liquid. Place the container into the microwave and heat for approximately 1-2 minutes.

Carefully remove the hot liquid from the microwave and add both salts. Stir until salts have dissolved. If necessary, place the mixture back into the microwave and heat on 30 second bursts. Strain mixture to remove any Pink Sea Salt that has not dissolved.

Once the temperature is below 142 degrees, add 10 ml od Germaben and stir to combine. Optionally, you can add 6 ml of fragrance oil. Once cooled to room temperature, pour mixture into your four spray bottles.

To use, thoroughly shake and spray liberally throughout hair dry hair. You can try scrunching or twisting sections of hair for added curl and texture. Enjoy!
