Yellow Beeswax - The most commonly used wax in the toiletry industry, our beeswax is fully refined (but not bleached) and comes in granules, which makes measuring easy and convenient. Beeswax is a substance secreted by the worker honey bees used for the construction of their honeycomb. In addition to making an excellent hardening agent in lip balm and lotion bars, Beeswax is a wonderful fuel for candles. It burns longer and more clean than candles made with most other waxes. Due to the nature of the product, this beeswax does have a smoky scent. If you prefer a unscented beeswax, we recommend the White Beeswax.

Yellow Beeswax
Because this is a natural product it can vary from batch to batch. This past order was a more dark yellow and has smoky/earthy notes to it. I personally prefer it when it has a softer honey-like smell, when it's a lighter yellow. In lotion bars with the FO being OMH the earthy notes were hard to overpower. Rachel was very helpful in resolving this issue for me. Great customer service!

I have just started making Body Butter Bars using this and my customers have LOVED it. I have had no issues with smell and it melts down well with my other ingredients, sets up well in containers. I like the natural color since most my customers are buying for all natural bars and soaps.

Very Happy
I am very happy with this product. I do not mind the smell as other users have stated. It smells exactly as I'd expect beeswax to smell. I've used it in my lip balm and in my lotion bars and both products have turned out excellent!

Just from looking at the picture...
I make my own homemade products and just from looking at the picture I can tell this beeswax is no good. It should not be that dark greyish yellow color, it means its either bad or was overcooked when made into pellets. After reading the reviews I can tell I was right. It should be a nice clean bright yellow and smell sweet like honey. I would recheck your products otherwise Im afraid youll have more unhappy costumers.

Hi Nicole! The quality of our products is extremely important to us. I'm wondering if the color of the beeswax on your computer may be an issue of monitor calibration. I will be emailing you personally to discuss this with you :)
