This is a favorite type of wick among candle makers. They are flat braided with a special paper filament woven in and around them. This is to help with an even and consistent burn while the wick trims itself. The CD series of wicks are used with many applications, especially vegetable base waxes.
The CD series has been cut to a specified length, primed with a high melt point wax (212 F) and has been crimped with a 20mm diameter x 10mm tall tabs. Wicks are 6" long.
Reply from Bramble Berry Hi Jasmine! It sounds like you don't have a wick problem but more of a fragrance problem. If it was a wick problem the candle would have problems burning, too small of a burn pool, etc. We recommend using your fragrance at 4-6% of your entire candle weight. You will also want to make sure that the fragrance you're using is compatible with your candle wax. You can read more about this in our Orange Blossom Candle Tutorial + Candle Tips. I will email you personally to help troubleshoot!
