Lavender 40/42 Essential Oil - Lavender 40/42 is a bold yet fresh smelling Lavender very similar to our Lavender Provence Essential oil. Made from a mixture of lavender essential oils to create a dependable scent year after year, this Lavender does not experience the same crop variations due to blending different Lavender constituents in a lab after harvesting and distilling. Similar to a red table wine, Lavender 40/42 blends different kinds of Lavender for an economical and consistent blend. Our Lavender 40/42 is a very reliable and refreshing ingredient for any toiletry product - create soothing soaps, relaxing bath salts, or calming lotions.

Reply from Bramble Berry Hi Carrie! I'm so glad you love our Lavender 40/42 Essential Oil! It is definitely safe to use in candles. Though, we have not tested all of our essential oils specifically for candles so we recommend doing a test candle just to make sure you like the burn scent and fragrance throw. The Lavender (Candle & Soap) Fragrance Oil smells like a slightly sweetened version of the essential oil and works beautifully in candles! I will email you personally to discuss this further.
"Thank you for your prompt response. Bramble Berry has the best customer service of any company I know of. Pass the word!" -Rene
