Mauvey Gem Mica: This light pink color is lovely in melt and pour and lotion bars. It provides a nice light shimmer without the garishness of a bright pink. This color can fade to a light pink if it is overheated, so keep all temperatures below 150F.
NOTE: This mica is not suitable for CP soaps.Safe for use in eye shadows
To use this mica in Melt and Pour Soap: Wet the mica with rubbing alcohol until a liquid slurry is made. This usually is about a 1:1 mix of mica and rubbing alcohol. Add the desired amount of the slurry to the melted soap and stir to combine.
Botanical Name: Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Carmine (CI 75470) Common Name: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Carmine
