The Olive Oil melt and pour soap from Bramble Berry is fantastic! The soap base takes scents and colors quite easily and sets up like a dream! I made an exfoliating bar with this base with citrus scented essential oil and Wow! I have to say that it made a phenomenal bar of soap! I keep a bar by the sink in my guest bathroom and even my husband commented on how it provided a great lather and how the soap removed the grime from his hands (from working in the garage) without making them dry.
While this is an amazing base because of the olive oil in it, still it is very hard to work with. It is not a good base to do swirling as it gels super fast.

Hi Alina! I'm sorry this product wasn't your favorite. We've found it works well. I'll be emailing you personally to resolve this issue!
My mom just called. I had made her some olive oil soap with orange and lemon essential oil in it. She said that she had used it this morning in the shower and wanted to tell me that her skin was still soft. It is almost 10:00pm. When I brought it over to my parents, my dad pronounced one of the nicest bars of glycerin soap he had seen.
I have been keeping a bar of it in my kitchen. I do a lot of cooking and a lot of hand washing and have been having trouble with very dry skin on my hands. The scent of the citrus was faint, but the soap was very creamy and my hands no longer need constant moisturizing.
Since it was my first attempt at soap making, I will be sure to add a bit more essential oil the next time. But I will be using this soap again.
