Description

Vetyver (BBW Type): This fragrance is a much beloved fragrance that Bath & Body Works (BBW) did in 2003. It is not a single note like the essential oil of the same name, but rather has top notes of Lemon & Rosemary. The middle notes contain florals, Sandalwood and Patchouli and finally, the luscious blend finishes off with musk and vetyver. This fragrance stays a lovely white in CP soap and performs wonderfully in all manner of soap and toiletries.

Easy 5 star
I love this fragrance on its own, and so do all of my testers (except the foodie lovers). However, I made a batch with 80% Vetyver and 20% fir essential oil (total weight of fragrance), and found a new way to love this fragrance. If you try it, be careful with fir and watch for acceleration -- Vetyver by itself is very well behaved!

yummy!
This scent is so easy to work with and smells so intriguing. Everyone who smells it comes back for another sniff. I used it to scent a soap in my Lord of the Rings series,( Thorin Oakenshield), oh yum! :-) You won't have any regrets using this fragrance.2

Plenty of Time to Play
I specifically chose this scent to try my hand at my first tiger stripe. Based on the OOB scent and the reviews, I made my plan. It went perfectly! I was able to work with a 4 color stripe that came out beautiful. My son saw it, smelled it, and said "I want a bar to shower with right now!" It's a bit reminiscent of Creed's Green Irish Tweed men's cologne. It's now been curing for 4 weeks and the scent is still sexy. If you want to add to your fresh, masculine line, I highly recommend this one. I'm definitely keeping it around!

Yup
I concur with all of the rave reviews. This is a terrific fresh scent and I was suprised. A friend had given me a bottle of vetiver essential oil that he bought at a local store ($21 for 2 oz.) to make soap for him. It smelled to me like burnt weeds, though somehow not in a bad way. It was very thick and brown and I didn't think it would work out, but it actually soaped beautifully and did not discolor. This fragrance has just a hint of that burnt weed smell but with all of the other scents blended in its just really wonderful. If you're on the fence about this one - live a little and try it!

Best Seller
This is my best selling masculine scent. I can't keep this one in stock! No other vetyver FO compares. Ordering a large bottle this time! No discoloration, and a slow mover. A dream!
