1. The soap mold, lined with plastic and ready for the soap to pour into.

2. Pouring the soap. Notice that the plastic side ring is already in place, before pouring.

3. The soap is fully poured, smooth and ready for the plastic divider to be pushed in.

4. Make sure that your plastic dividers are put together securely. Remember, the smaller plastic pieces come out first so make sure that your divider is positioned correctly.

5. Pick your plastic insert up and push it gently, evenly into your soap. Hold by the sides for the easiest grip.

6. Make sure your gloves are fully on with no holes in them. Double check to make sure that the short plastic dividers are in the slots, ready to be pulled out first.

7. Place the lid over the top of your soap.

8. The last step is to insulate your soap. Simply throw over a couple of old towels, walk away and then, wait for 24 hours before trying to release your soap.

10. After frequent use and testing of the Birchwood mold we recommend that our customers not use pliers on the dividers as it shows in the photo above...read revised instructions

11. If you're making hot process soap with our mold, spray or grease the grid before inserting it into your soap. This will help the grid to slide out easier once your soap has cooled down fully. Don't be scared to put your hot process soap into the freezer for an hour if you're having difficultly releasing the grid.

12. Your soap will slide out without any cutting. This is a big time saver. Finished bars will weigh between 4 and 6 oz. depending on how full you pour the mold.
