SO FUN

This product was so easy to make and had a lot of fun doing it. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is because I would like to be provided with an ingredient list

Lye and Soap

I have made this and people love it. My question is that if it does not have lye in it then does it clean as it should. Thank you

Sodium Hydroxide Lye is one of the ingredients in the Honey Melt and Pour. As long as this ingredient is included that means you have a true bar of soap. We find this kit makes a moisturizing and cleansing bar.

Bee Melt & Pour Kit

Love Love Love this product! This was my fist soap project with my daughter. I watched and assisted her as she made the soap. We really enjoyed the time together and the end result of the product. Can't wait to try making the make more soap.

Easy to make but......

I got this kit for my 11 yo daughter that has expressed in soaping since I started. This was easy for her to do by herself (under my watchful eye). She only used the vanilla fragrance oil with her first batch. Our major dissapointment is that the soap went from a lovely honey brown to almost a chocolate brown with a very dark ring around the edge. This has not stopped her interest (or mine) in soaping! Thanks so much!

Hi Sydnie! I'm sorry you were disappointed in that discoloration. We purposely chose the Vanilla Select and Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Fragrance Oils as discoloring fragrances oils in this kit so you would discolor to a nice chocolate brown if desired. You can see how to adjust the amount of scent used (lightly scent or leave unscented) for a paler color in the Bees Soap Kit tutorial.
