Colorants for lotion and body butter
Part of what’s great about making your own homemade lotion and body butter is getting to customize it. Adding color is a part of that customization. We have great options for adding color to your DIY lotion or body butter project. You can choose from a range of natural colorants for your lotion. Powdered clays add subtle tints and natural tones, and clays can also help absorb oils. For stronger natural coloring, we offer a range of plant powders, too! Natural indigo creates beautiful blues, annatto and turmeric for oranges and yellows, even spinach powder to create greens! For brilliant, transparent color, we have Liquid Crystal dyes that span the rainbow. They’re highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. They’re also ready to use right out of the bottle, no dilution required. You can also add a little sparkle to your lotion! Our EcoGlitter is made from cellulose and is biodegradable. It adds a pleasant shimmer, and we have a few colors so you can complement the color of your lotion. There are so many options for coloring homemade lotion. You can color it to match your bathroom decor, or to suggest the content of the lotion (soft green for aloe, perhaps?). You can color kids’ lotion in their favorite colors to encourage them to keep their skin healthy. Check out our range of colorants for lotion and body butter. We’ll sure you’ll find a favorite, no matter what your project is!
