Chamomile, Egyptian - Used for centuries to help relax, this herb is also lovely as an additive in soap and bath teas. Use whole in bath teas, or ground up in soap for exfoliation and slip.
Ingredients: Botanical Name: Matricaria recutitaCommon Name: German Chamomile Country of Origin: Egypt
The flowers are lovely and most would not notice the scent of honey powder.. it is rather distinct. Consequently my infused oil now has the sweet honey smell. I can only hope it isn't too sugary for the ointment I make for family.
I use this in a few of my soap recipes. It isn't the strongest smelling chamomile I have ever used but it is decent and the price is good. It grinds nicely and looks pretty suspended within yellow colors and also looks great sprinkled on top of soaps.
I have used this as an additive to the honey melt and pour along with assorted fragrances. Its a wonderful additive, adds a nice gold glow to that specific base, and really makes the soap attractive. Good value for the cost.
