Cold Water: The perfect men's fragrance, this crisp scent is surprisingly also adored by women. It's like navigating a kayak through icy waters - brisk and fresh but casual enough not to overwhelm the senses. Top notes: citrus, black currant and pineapple. The middle notes are: honeydew, muguet and water lily and the base of the fragrance is: vetiver amber and mulberry.
Performance in Cold Process Soap: This fragrance oil can discolor pink/purple or tan in cold process soap. It accelerates trace, but the extra effort is worth the scent!
This fragrance contains phthalates.
Flashpoint: This medium-flashpoint oil (163ºF) cannot ship via USPS regardless of the shipping method you choose at checkout.

I use this in my shower gels, shampoo's and Beard oils and they guys just go nuts for it! I can't keep it on my shelf's! When I make soap from it I have no problems of discoloration. The scent stays to the very end too!
This was the 3rd batch that has been ruined due to discoloration. I don't want my men's soap to be pink. Too bad b/c the scent is fantastic.
Kelsey from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Kimberly! I'm glad you think the scent of our Cold Water Fragrance Oil is fantastic! Though I'm sorry you were disappointed in the discoloration. This scent can discolor to a pink/purple, as noted on the product page. If you're looking for other men's fragrances that don't discolor, you may like Bramble Berry's Made to Measure Type Fragrance Oil, Shave and a Haircut Fragrance Oil, or Tobacco & Bay Leaf Fragrance Oil.
This is the second time we have use this FO and both times it has slightly accelerated both times but not enough that it was unworkable. This time we did an in the pot swirl it it came out lovely except where we used TD the FO turned the soap slightly purple in some areas. THe smell is a nice fresh manly smell and most of the guys love it!
Well the white part of my design did turn pink. My own fault tho, I did not remember that part of the description. I made the squirty swirl just like Anne Maries'. Blue and white. Yes I did. NO acceleration at all. That recipe was excellent. The pink is not my forte in a mans soap, but I got what I got and I will go with it and pretend it is supposed to be that way. It smells wonderful, tho and lasts and lasts. Thanks for being such a great company.
But....I cannot make a cp bar of soap without the pink showing up. I've tried everything. Cool soaping, vary the recipes. coconunt, palm and olive oil ingredients. nothing seems to work. after 11 test batches, I might have to give up. too bad, because I really love this FO.
